The transfer station will no longer be accepting brush from November 1st to May 1st.
Furthermore, no brush larger than 4 inch in diameter will be accepted.

The Municipality of Thorne will be reopening to the public on March 8, 2021, at 9 a.m. Only one person at the time will be allowed in the office. The social distance of 2 meters must be respected, hand washing is required before entering the office and the wearing of a mask is mandatory.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with Ministerial
Order 2020-0014 of April 2, 2020, from the Minister of Health and
Social Services (ministre de la Santé et des Services sociaux), the MRC
Pontiac is postponing the sale of properties at public auction for nonpayment
of municipal or school taxes that was scheduled for May 14,
2020, to September 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at the Campbell's Bay
Recreation Centre located at 2, Second Street.
